How to "MultiQuote" previous posts.

Recommended Posts

When you are in a thread that has replies from several different members, and you wish to reply to each of these members, You may do so without having to create a separate post for each quoted text, as you would do in the Quoted Text Tutorial.

How you do this is, by viewing each of the posts you wish to reply to. Then, click on the "MultiQuote" button at the bottom of each of those previous posts:

When you click on the first "MultiQuote" button, a pop up will show on the bottom right of your screen. The counter on it will go up each time you click on another posters "MultiQuote" button:

Once you click on the "Reply to X quoted post(s)" button, each of the quoted posts you have clicked on, will be entered into your text editing window. Edit each quote as necessary, post your reply beneath each quote, and then click "Preview Post" at the bottom of the page to see what your final post will appear like once posted. If you are happy with the results, click "Post New Topic". If not, simply alter the quotes and your replies to each one, as necessary.

This topic is about adding "Topic Tags" when creating a new topic.

When creating a new topic, if you add short tags (basically keywords associated with the topic), the forum software will find other related topics and post them at the bottom of the topic you have created, when someone loads it. That way, it makes it easier for someone who is seeking a specific topic, by listing topics at the bottom of your thread. That prevents the member from having to use the search feature as often, as similar topics are already "loaded" at the bottom of the page, and below the "quick reply" text box:

I have added tags that are not associated with this particular topic, solely as an example. If you scroll to the bottom of this topic, you will see some topics that use the topic tags I have added to this post. Please feel free to use "Topic Tags" when creating a new topic. It will not only help you in the future, but will assist others who are looking for similar information. The screenshot below will show you where you add "Topic Tags" when creating a new thread:

Please note: Topic Tags may only be added in the first post of a new thread. Topic Tags may not be added to any replies in a given thread.

(Please scroll to the bottom of this page, to view topics listed that have the same Topic Tags attached to them.)

If you have any questions regarding this topic, please post below and I will assist you.

Miami Beach Mansion Belonging To Ricky Martin Has Finally Been Sold
Monday, April 23 2012 @ 02:55 AM MSK Ricky Martin, the singer made popular by hits such as “Shake Your Bon Bon” and “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” will no longer be living in Florida now that his Miami Beach mansion has finally been sold after having the home placed on the property market after five years.

After being able to purchase the Miami Beach mansion for $10 million in 2005, the 40-year-old singer has been placing the property on and off the market. But finally, the mansion has been purchased by a buyer whose name has not been released.

Records show that the mansion was sold for $10.6 million.

According to reports, Beyonce and Jay-Z had paid a visit to the mansion during a time when they were interesting in being able to find outstanding properties within the Miami Beach area.

The mansion was placed on the property market for $19.8 million back in 2008 but Martin’s asking price simply had to be brought down due to the fact that 2008 was also the year that the housing market had come crashing down. Years later, the mansion had gone back on the market once more for a value of $12.5 million in 2010.

According to property records, the home garners property taxes of as much as $106,000 per annum. The mansion is described to be: a Mediterranean masterpiece with breathtaking open bay views from every room.

Detailed finishes include solid mahogany doors, ceilling treatments, fireplaces, crown moldings and travertine marble all throughout the mansion. It has its an exquisite gourmet kitchen, formal dining room, and full bar. It also has a Jacuzzi and pool.
