Yes light skin and preferably blonde hair and blue eyes are sought after and will get you hired. Though after 2 or 3 months, teaching performance kicks in- if nothing is happening in the classroom, they won't keep you - hard to believe, but in Cambodia ability out weighs blondeness in the long run.

Mickey D and Disney are Royal cultural icons - they are the future. Bland and neutered.

maybe $10/hr in phnom penh if you got game for run of the mill.

tell them you are experienced.

Or contact ACE and play it on the level.

Leave off teh dreads though.

Think Dick Van Dyke as their ideal "looking" teacher.

Any of those 60's characters with short hair and a tie.

Maybe do an apprenticeship with dicey eye at teh beach if he will give you a go.

he is DOS and Vice Principal.

Most of the engrish teechers hang out at khmer440.com

you will find them most unwelcoming if you ask any question.

a bunch of dicks who know everything about nothing and vice versa with a few gemlike exceptions.
