actually the bamboo train ain't FOR tourists. It's locals who use it most, lotta lil vils along the tracks. Even when the real train ran the bamboo one runs faster. and WAY more often. Wheels are actually cobbled up from old tanks. The motors are I believe the kind they use in pumping water.  So it's not really a marketing thing. Of course once WE found out about it we hadda go for a look see.
