10 new cotton balls arrive

Recommended Posts

Parrothead

I call them cotton balls, because that is how the little guys look while they are sleeping.

They were a bit tattered after Chan gave them a bit of a "fast" ride home on a motorbike, day before yesterday. I told her, next time, not to drive quite so fast. We gave them water. They also began eating  a bit of chick feed. By the yesterday morning, they were good. They all seem to be doing well, so far.

Yes Asians generally don't seem to have that loving feeling for most animals that us Westerners grow up with ...I really think its a them or us attitude as they are all edible ...so why love them ??????

I don't allow them to abuse the chickens, like I see so many do here. I don't let them tie their feet up either. They will treat them humanely, or this whole thing will come to an end. They probably think I am nuts.

Cultural tainted perceptions are varied. One person’s Cotton Ball is another person’s hors-d'oeuvre.

I love them for that very reasoning. Edibility. Feathered or furrier

same, same

the better. As long as they are around I won't be eating crickets, grasshoppers, etc.

You bought more chicks? Or Chan was just giving them a joy ride?

No. we haven't bought any in some time now. We treat our chickens unlike anyone else. You should see their living quarters - sauna, jacuzzi, lap pool. They have it made.

I think she was bringing them home from the movies at the time. Chicken Little was showing.
