First Electric Bill: $.25c US / kWh

I pay P66 per cubic meter for water here in Manila ....its much higher than my previous condo ....but my electric is so small !! ...so kinda off sets ..

I have always paid for water in Thailand! Have you got your own well? Or are you on sea water! Haha

  $37 per cubic meter for water????    A typo???   Have to be.     Water is the cheapest thing there is in Cambodia.    My bill is about $5.00 per month.    A big family with lots of laundry would bhard pressed to hit $10.00 per month.   In Sihanoukville.

Sorry Phuketrichard! Just a bit of crazy humour. How is life treating you in Phuket? Is the weather hot? I wish I had air-conditioning! It's bloody hot here now.

Yes! I was told, that this is the transition period. High humidity, before the real heat arrives. The problem for me is the house has a tin roof. So lesson learned! A property with a little air flow and shaded vegetation in the courtyard would be a good idea. Or on the other hand! A month's holiday in Phuket is looming.
