I am Mike I am new to the forum and would like to introduce our business "South East Asia & Associates" that my partner Jim and I are in the process of setting up.
The internet shows many private investigation companies operating in Cambodia but on further research they do not have an office within the country. The two that I have come across with offices in Phnom Penh are not registered with the Ministry of Commerce or the Tax Office.
Our research has found that the Ministry of Commerce will not allow us to use the word "Investigation" on any of our official paperwork as only government offices can investigate. Therefore all our official paperwork states "Private Researcher".
There are currently no P.I. licenses issued in Cambodia but we have been informed by lawyers at the "Cambodian Law Firm" that we can proceed and will need to apply for a licence when they are introduced.
Once hired we charge a per hour rate and will require a retainer to cover expenses. An itemised bill will be provided on completion of the investigation. We will do our best to work within your budget.
