Ok guys need some advice please.

4 years ago the last time in Phnom Penh Airport arrivals a visa official put the white heart symbol on the cover of my passport in white ink (like tipex) (see photo). Does anyone know what this means please. I'm flying out to PP in three weeks.

Sorry guys. I cannot upload the photo.

Near the top left hand corner of my UK passport a visa official put a white heart symbol on the cover of my passport.

It is about the same size as this...   UN

(imagine the white heart instead of UN)

In white.

Thoughts...

The heart is the universal sign for love, for attraction - might deduce somebody fell instantly in love of somebody else.

Seriously though, I never heard about anybody else getting the heart stamp from immigration.

No, not yet Paul

It had to be a holiday thing, or some other special occasion for putting it on there.

Thanks for the posts guys.

Not got to the bottom of this yet. On another social media site the following was suggested.

POSTER

It could be a peace symbol too.  It was Victory Over Khmer Rouge day on Saturday.

So if you arrived on that day 4 years ago it could have been that maybe?

ME

Saturday 5th January 2013. Would that back up your theory?

ME

Ok. Just googled this. Victory over Khmer Rouge day in January 2013 was a national public holiday on Monday 07th January.

POSTER

Yes, it's awfully close so it could be the reason. A bit like our poppies perhaps?

Thoughts guys?
