6 times in the last 2 years( first time 1988)

last visit was March  Inle lake,Mrauk-u,Sittwe,Yangon

Last nov 10 day  motorcycle trip thru chin state

heading back in another few months

best trip was from Khamti (way up north ) down the Chindwin river to Monwya and the last motorcycle trip

 

Great country, great people, lousy food, not as cheap as thailand

It was great but very hard on this old body

next time will use a 125 dirt bike NOT a Chinese honda wave copy

 

Will do it again but change the route a bit and wait till AFTER  the rains have ended

Riding for 2+days in the rain and mud was a bitch plus had an accident and bruised 2 ribs

last time couldn't get to Tedim, Rezua  or Maupi cause of mud and landslides

so this is the next trip

      Titanic to be Myanmar’s first film

      The first movie to play in Myanmar in more than a decade will be Titanic 3-D, Twentieth Century Fox has announced.
      The film will open on Saturday, August 17 in the Southeast Asian nation formerly known as Burma after Fox made an agreement with Mingalar Co, a local importer that operates eight single-screen cinemas in the country.
