  1. The frequent and lengthy brownouts that we "appreciate" here in Sihanoukville, prompted me to seek out alternate ways to continue having power during the outages. (The most recent lengthy brownout was 14 hours.) Apparently, trying to find a deep cycle battery in Sihanoukville is like pulling hens teeth. So, I began online searching up north(?) a bit, to Phnom Penh, in hopes of finding a supplier. I found two, thanks to a member on Tony's forum. One supplier offered me 100AH or 200AH batteries, at pretty high rates. The 12vdc, 100AH battery is $165 USD, plus $3 USD shipping to Sihanoukville. The 12vdc, 200AH battery is $325 USD, plus $3.00 USD shipping to Sihanoukville. A much better offer was sent to me. 12vdc, 130AH deep cycle battery, Japanese brand - Yuasa, made in Thailand. The price is $120 USD, plus $4.00 USD shipping to Sihanoukville. Here is the website, address, and information on Yuasa dealer in Phnom Penh. EB130.pdf Map location of dealer:
