This topic is about adding "Topic Tags" when creating a new topic. When creating a new topic, if you add short tags (basically keywords associated with the topic), the forum software will find other related topics and post them at the bottom of the topic you have created, when someone loads it. That way, it makes it easier for someone who is seeking a specific topic, by listing topics at the bottom of your thread. That prevents the member from having to use the search feature as often, as similar topics are already "loaded" at the bottom of the page, and below the "quick reply" text box: I have added tags that are not associated with this particular topic, solely as an example. If you scroll to the bottom of this topic, you will see some topics that use the topic tags I have added to this post. Please feel free to use "Topic Tags" when creating a new topic. It will not only help you in the future, but will assist others who are looking for similar information. The screenshot below will show you where you add "Topic Tags" when creating a new thread: Please note: Topic Tags may only be added in the first post of a new thread. Topic Tags may not be added to any replies in a given thread. (Please scroll to the bottom of this page, to view topics listed that have the same Topic Tags attached to them.) If you have any questions regarding this topic, please post below and I will assist you.
