Here Be Dragon's Food Menu

Not much Tex Mex or spicy dishes for this caliente aficionado. Also no sh*t- kicking Southern style grub. No biscuits n gravy, no SOS, no grits, no Cajun Jambalaya.

I rather walk on the culinary wild side.

Only spicy Tex Mex item they have is chili, which appears kinda high priced.

MY opinion ONLY and I have owned an run restaurants an worked in them over 10 years in the states an ran a NY style deli here.

agree; nothing spicy

looks like ur typical backpackers menu so lots of competition.

all prices are higher than a local thai restaurant here in PHuket

I just had Meat with Basil on top of rice with a friend egg and a coke for   8o Baht

Somtom  40 baht with fresh vegies

Sticky rice 10 baht

Larp  with sticky rice 70 baht and fresh greens

Noodle soup with chicken here is 40-50 baht only

fried rice with chicken, noodles  40-50 baht

good luck

Here Be Dragons is pretty popular among backpackers. I try to go there when I think fewer people will be around.

Went to Dragons once. For the quiz night with another older teacher. Walked in and the place was crawling with dreadlocked backpackers - young backpackers, didn't see one over the age of 25. My colleague and I felt VERY out of place age-wise.Both left, never to return. I teach young kids at work, don't need to be around the same after work.

are they in the lonley planet guide book?

that would account for the clientele paying higher prices than Thailand  for, i would imagine, sub standard food
