Oz Jon,

I receive $1075 per month on my VA (Veterans Affairs) disability. I'll have no problem living and doing my thing in Cambodia and still save at least $100 a month. I lived in the Phils a decade ago when I was receiving only $881 a month, and I still saved a little each month. Granted, I won't be going out to bars very often. I rarely drink. One baggie full of happy puff each month is my party action. During the days I tend to stay inside and draw & paint, and, once I'm in country, I'll be taking Khmer language lessons, and Khmer cooking classes as well. I will do some exploring during the day. And, after researching the English teaching situation in Cambodia, I'm just going to slowly and professionally build up a small group of students for private lessons to make a few extra dollars each month. And I will have the appropriate visa and pay any and all taxes.
