"View New Content" doesn't work for me!

Recommended Posts

Is this a website problem? or am I just lucky?

It hasn't worked for me for a long time (ever?).

For example, today the opening page shows that there are many (9) new posts, but clicking the "view new content" tab shows "sorry, no new content"

Not a very important problem, but a bit annoying. Am I doing something wrong?

Isn't technology wonderful? - Lol!

Cheers!

ps.

Fascinating! - this post now shows up in "view new content" .... the other 9 do not!

I wonder, is this a timing/date problem?

Maybe, because my Aus date is frequently a day ahead of US dates?

Click it twice. It may be due to where you are clicking from.

OMG! - I'm shattered! - I may need to top myself! - as you well know Paul, I need to be loved!

ps.

Interesting  - my post in response to (your post on) the table saw thing also shows up there now! - but still not the "original" 9 other posts.

Never mind - as usual, I have a work-around!

Cheers!

Dump your browser cache and reload the site. See if that works.

Oz Jon, Not to worry, I have been having the same problem for sometime. Click again when it shows no content found. It seems to flip from members and new posts.

PS I wondered where you had gone! I for one have missed you. :)

That sounds technical. Could be lost forever! Bye bye my old friend Oz Jon. Sorry I need lessons in computing.

No mate, clearing the browser cache and re-loading didn't fix the problem, but never mind - not a serious problem and I have a work-around.

Andy - not to worry about me topping myself - sometimes I lie! - and I've got several bottles of good wine left in my cupboard - no way I'd leave them behind! - Lol!

I was not aiming the coment directly at you OJ. I was thinking out loud at my inabilities on computing. I had recently had the Wifi provider come out and look at my system because it is so slow of late. He told me it was because so many users in the town are using Face Book.

Anyway It would be nice to drink a good wine together one day :)
