I guess sometime, the Visa situation will get clarified.

Don't hold your breath. The one constant in Cambodia, is change. :D

Just put mine in at Mottah. No documentation, didn't even ask how old I am (57 but maybe I looked like a geezer to her!). $295 and one week turnaround. Fingers crossed. She seemed very sure.

I hope so! It seems some agents can do what they like, and some can't. Its a law to themselves. It seems to me Cambodia and mainly its people just want to line there pockets regardless of any laws. Its the worse country I have ever known for corruption.

The country will always be the same and never progress. Only deeper in its corrupt ways.

That's probably the main reason I like Cambodia so much.

All joking aside - I've lived in 5 other countries over the last 35 yrs and they all were "developing countries" and all as corrupt  as hell. Welcome to the 3rd world!!!

All joking aside :) I would say most of the town and city people don't want change. Without extortion some may have to do a little work.

We are only a little by-product. They rip their country folk off daily.

Boy, is that ever the truth! I've seen 'em try to screw their own countrymen. I'm sure they make no bones about screwing a foreigner.

She did not have to ask your age. Its on your passport you handed too her, and 55 is the age I am hearing. So you would think all will be good.

To let you know how consistent they are with their - errrr, inconsistencies, have a look at an agent's recent ad:
