Recommended Posts

Sometime today when I am not busy and I don't see members online I will update the software.

Should only take 5 to 30 minutes.

No just the IPB Software
The hosting company asked politely to wait on the PHP thing until it is needed.

It is needed for the next version of IPB.

I really dont know why they dont seem to want to do it. Must be a lot of work involved?

I read the difference between the versions and since it uses less server resources you would think a hosting company would be all over it?

It would make their servers work much better. They could do more with less. Other than not wanting to upgrade the PHP the have been very helpful.

Yes, I understand. But, the new version of PHP (v7.) would also work better for this version of the forum software, as well.

Your right. Thats what I was also trying to say but I forgot to write a sentence lol
The new PHP is overall more efficient for anything running it.
