Hi From CNE

Recommended Posts

CNE

Greetings. I'm sure some of you will be aware of the Cambodia News English FB page, and the offshoot (after FB kept banning us) that came from it.

If not, a quick introduction.... CNE started off as an EFL project for adults in PP. Quickly it was noted that there was no community based news outlet in English (with the exceptions of certain websites which pass news stories off as their own, without linking to the original sources). So, we made one. We don't write, we report from others, and sometimes this can lead to errors, which are always corrected if pointed out.

Please check us out at https://cne.wtf/ or https://www.facebook.com/kampongnews/ and feel free to share anything that is interesting here. Apart from stealing stories off other local and international news sites, any independent articles are welcome and can be submitted.

Thanks to the mods of this forum, and long may the wacky, crazy and sometimes unpleasant news that comes from the KoW continue.

Hello welcome to the forum. I see a few of your stories have been shared here by members already.

I changed your Profile picture to the same one as your Facebook Page.

Do you translate the stories yourself?

We keep a team of macaques we got cheap when a Chinese brain cancer research clinic closed. They are hidden deep in the forests of Pursat under the watchful eye of Somnang and Oudom, who try their best, bless them.

Forgive a few poorly worded articles every now and again, as neither the primates nor interns are native English speakers. We don't want to destroy their confidence too much.

It is bound to happen with that much translating going on.
