Medical Facilities In Cambodia

Recommended Posts

Sok Sen International Hospital has a Russian ENT doctor.

I saw him a few weeks ago when I needed some minor surgery.

He wanted to operate on me using a scalpel and no anesthesia.

I decided to wait until I was in BKK, and had the surgery done by a Thai doctor that

used a laser and local anesthesia.

The Russian doctor seems like a nice guy, but his methods seem very antiquated.

I will be visiting Roomchang on December the 3rd and will report back.

By all acounts very modern and the owner is german trained.

If you need any plastic surgery Dr Reid Sheftall in PP is well regarded.

Don't take your GF to his office though- he has pics of nose jobs on the wall and those girls want same same like thai tv stars.

Reid Sheftall is american, and well known internationally.

Reid also treats cambodian kids who get burned, free out of his own pocket, without advertising for donations.

I think he has treated hundreds since he has been inn PP.

I wouldn't have any elective procedure done in Cambodia when you have Thailand next door. Not to mention nearby world, class facilities in Malaysia, Singapore and even the Philippines.

A bargain at four times that price.

In Oz you would be talking 3 figures minimum.

Jimmy, back in the 80s when I had a restaurant in Pattaya we had a few western customers that we on their way to China to get eye surgery.

Seems the Chinese medics were well in advance of Oz even way back then and of course cheaper.

Yep, they'll take over.
