It does seem sadly that the site has died with Paul.

LICF was on life support long before Paul passed away. Its demise was inevitable with or without Paul at the helm.

RIP LICF.

I have always enjoyed this forum and the posters,  there is a lot of useful information in the living green in Cambodia section that I would hate to see lost.

If the site does close,  can I have a copy of the LGinC section.

It could still be at least a hobby for someone.
But it does not seem like anyone is interested.

Other than copy and pasting I don't think there is a way to do that.

I may be interested.  What is all involved in keeping it going, or trying to build it up?  I am well familiar with both the other two main forums, and I don't see why many of those people would not come over.  How can it be distinct enough from those other two?

This forum does not allow nearly as much trolling as the others.

Perhaps the forum's demise is more a reflection of what is going on in Cambodia than Paul's death.  Snooky has ceased to exist as we once knew it and is now naught but Chinatown where not even Cambodians are welcome.  Many of the foreigners we knew there have long since departed for friendlier places so the pool of available posters has sunk dramatically.  That makes more sense to me than Paul's untimely death.

What is the cost to keep it alive?  What do you require of a new Caretaker?
