Work at home

So I was to witness the other day out in the rural areas.

This girl would put together the cardboard template making 100 of those cars per day, her reward $8.

The Chinese pay deliver and collect every day and work is plentiful.

Suplied with two glue guns and card, the villager is happy to work at home and tend to other daytime needs. She also earns more then going out to any neighbouring factories.

According to my math she makes 8 cents per car. I wonder what the Chinese are selling those cars for? Bet its a significant mark-up.

Still on the plus side the lady can do the toy cars at home, so that's nice.

Interesting and better pay than a lot of jobs here.

It would certainly be a mark up for sure, if not then the loss would make it impractical. I don't see the Chinese doing the same has the yesterday's westerner whom would help the people only for charity and cause, with no fund's too themselves.

It makes sense for the boss to operate, running on a day-to-day basis with no factory overheads.

Nor I would susspect any of the labour or government laws that would dictate factory operations. It maybe legal under some cottage type industry.

Neither the less the workers are happy earning above what they can in the factory.

What I tend to hear is there will be plenty of work for the people, but mostly like this only labour due to low cost manufacture. The same can be said for farm hands. Any skills needed  or business the new comers look to their own.
